Circa 1886. A one-room sleeping cabin, restored in 1990. The American wormy chestnut logs were brought here from the Cataloochee Trail. There is no cooking or open fire allowed in this cabin because of its antiquity. The rocking chairs on the front porch are a great place to relax.

All of our cabins are smoke free. Pets are allowed in many of the cabins for an extra $20/night/pet (max. of 2). In order to accommodate our guests with pet allergies, pets are not permitted in Appalachian, Azalea, Cherokee, Fontana, Hickory, Hummingbird, Mountain Goat, Nantahala, Oconaluftee, Red Fox, River Otter, Ruthe's Place or Walnut cabins.
